Punta Mita homeowner Greg Warnick is a lifelong surfer who has followed his passion to surf throughout the world, in places such as South Africa, the Caribbean, Indonesia, Africa, Australia, Canada and the USA, to name a few. Greg grew up surfing in Palos Verdes, beginning at the age of 10. After a successful business career, he parlayed his love for surfing into a business, starting “Luxury Surf,” a provider of luxury surf vacations with a property in South Africa at Jeffreys Bay and another in Punta de Mita. These days, though, his primary surf break is at Punta Mita, right in front of the home he and his family currently are building.
I currently ride a board that is my age or less! Right now that’s a 6’2”, however my favorite is a 5’6” fish. When I’m 70 I plan to be riding a 7-foot board and I guess when I reach 100, well, I’ll probably start using a 10-foot stand-up paddle board!
